Portobella Chili – VEGAN
Some of us omnivores shy away from vegan recipes fearing they won’t be as hardy or satisfying as “meat” chilies. Having tasted this soup, I can tell you it is every bit as good as any meat chili with excellent flavor and texture and in addition is extremely low sodium. Well spiced but not hot. Feel free to add your own cayenne or other hot ingredients if you like more heat. Think you don’t like vegan chili? Think again. |

Bacon-Potato Corn Chowder
Everything is better with bacon and when cold weather hits, chowder is a satisfying meal. This soup’s recipe was inspired by a local supper club located on the shores of Lake Michigan. Enjoy this in the comfort of your own home. |
