Upcoming Services & Special Events
Sunday, July 5th - Ware Lecture 2015 - Cornell West
This Sunday we will be holding the first of our monthly Ware Lecture Discussion Series in lieu of a live worship. The Ware Lecture is a tradition dating back to 1922 featuring a keynote address to the annual assembly of the American Unitarian Association and later continued with the UUA. Dr. Cornell West is a premiere contemporary moral philosopher, activist, and public intellectual whose written works include the 1993 best seller Race Matters, and The Future of Race, co-written with Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr.
The video of the Ware Lecture can be viewed through the link below:

Sunday, July 12th - "Fathers & Suns"
In a reprise of our service scheduled for June 28th which was not broadcast due to technical problems, we will be exploring mythology around sun deities and the masculine divine featuring Jennifer Burns and the last message from departing Director of Religious Education Krystal Rose.
Sunday, July 19th - "Calling it In: In Quest of Real Dialogue"
Our own Patti Fitchett will help lead service about how we might better engage in meaningful dialogue, especially with those whose views differ greatly from our own.
Sunday, July 26th - The Ordination of Denise Cawley - 2:00 PM
In lieu of Sunday morning service, we will focus our attention on the ordination service of our former intern minister Denise Cawley. With Covid-19 we changed this many times and now that we know that gatherings in a few months will not be any safer than sooner, we are going ahead with a mostly online ordination. One hour after the ordination ends we will have a parade in front of Bradford UU in Kenosha, to wave to Denise. Decorations and signs on your vehicles welcome.
Services begin at the time designated preceded by ~10 minutes of announcement slideshow.
Coffee Hour: All of our Sunday services will be immediately followed by an online coffee hour and discussion session via Zoom teleconference, the link will be available in your latest church email.
