April 30th - The Challenge of Living in a Transformational World
Join us for a special, all-ages Sunday service featuring worship leader Jim Kuntzelman and members of the Bradford UU religious education program.
May 7th - “Celebration of Sabbath & New Member Sunday”
In addition to welcoming our newest members to Bradford UU, we will be finding the ways we set aside time from the mundane to create simple, sacred space in our lives.
May 14th - “Mothers' Day”
Guest presenter Dr. Jean Carlson Adams will be delivering the message on the social and spiritual importance of motherhood. Dr. Adams is a retired clinical psychologist with decades’ worth experience working for the Juvenile Court system, serving mentally-ill homeless in the Detroit area, and most recently as a therapist for hospice. She is also a seasoned UU lay-leader having worked in six different UU congregations and is the proud mother of our minister Rev. Erik.
May 21st – “Spiritual Practice”
During service we will be exploring the ways we embody our spirituality in our daily lives, creating and maintaining individual spiritual practices which keep us grounded and connected the world around us. We will also be performing a re-covenanting ceremony between the members of Bradford and Congregations United to Serve Humanity (CUSH).
May 28th – “Memorial Day”
In honor of memorial day and the women and men who have served our country so bravely over the centuries, we will be lifting up the contributions and sacrifice of our fellow Unitarian Universalist military members, including our growing corps of UU military chaplains.
