Sunday, Dec. 3rd - "Angels Who Have Forgotten" with Rev. Tony Larsen
We welcome back Rev. Tony Larsen of Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church of Racine to deliver the message this Sunday. After serving nearly 42 years in Racine and helping to found Bradford Community Church UU over 20 years ago, Rev. Larsen will be retiring at the end of December.

We will examine the historical personage of St. Nicholas, his contentious relationship with one of our spiritual ancestors Arius, and the myriad sources of the modern Santa Claus myth.
Thursday, Dec. 21st, 7:00pm - "Winter Solstice Celebration"
The Winter Solstice marks the midway point of the dark part of the year; we now have longer, brighter days to look forward to. On December 21st we welcome the return of the sun and pay homage to our relationships with family, friends, communities, cultures, all of Nature, and the Divine. Join us for this special celebration of rebirth as we get ready to greet the new year with power, grace, and joy!

Join us for a Unitarian Universalist exploration of the winter holidays, touching on the relationship among Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year’s.
Sunday, Dec. 24th, 5:00pm - Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
We will usher in Christmas with our annual Christmas Eve candlelight service for all ages which will focus on the importance of the message of the holiday for us as Americans in the 21st Century. All are welcome!

Join us for an in-depth look at what we hope to gain in the coming year, and what we might just as well leave behind in 2017. ritual we will welcome back all Bradford UU graduates who are home for the holiday and speak to the larger understanding of family we cultivate within this congregation.
